Its about time!!! Good grief!! I have been waiting for eons and its finally here!! FINALLY!!! I here that Ralph Fiennes nephew is playing youg Voldemort and let me say that, that little boy is CREEPY! When Dumbledore says he had no idea that that little boy was going to grow up to be the Dark Lord, I have to say, I think he was having a moment of insanity, because CLEARLY that little boy needed some Love or something in his life...CLEARLY!! Looks good though...can't wait for the real thing to come out! I just hope that they don't cut out a bunch like they did in the last movie...woof!

Now as anyone who has decided to start picking up graphic novels knows...this particular graphic novel is the graphic novel to end all graphic novels lol! I saw the trailer for this movie as it was tagged to the midnight showing of Batman, and I am excited to see how this translates onto to the big screen. Especially since the author Alan Moore (he also wrote "V for Vendetta") has said that this would be an unfilmable piece, and that it was partially his point in writing the novel in the first place. Not to mention subject matter alone should put this sucker in an NC-17 type category but I suppose they will dress it up and play nice and hopefully give it an R rating. I think that's the only way they could pull it off. Especially since this novel, much like Wanted, has no "Super Heroes" in the general sense of the word. I won't go into too much detail. If you want to know more you can find at Wikipedia under "Watchmen".

NOw, I have never been a fan of Nicholas Cage becasue to me his acting is the in the same category as Samuel L Jackson and Hayden Christiansen. They play the same characters and maintain the same facial expressions the ENTIRE movie. However, the creep factor and plot of this movie intrigues me enough to look past Nicholas, and possibly enjoy the movie. Oh and for those of you who were wondering, his remake of Bangkok Dangerous was heinous!! Thailand should sue!! Ugh...

X-Men Origins: Wolverine

Ok, so this is like one of my most anticipated movies ever. And for those of you who know me, you know why. Now outside of Hugh Jackman, we have added to the list of hotness Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool and Taylor Kitsch as Gambit. I am curious as to how they are going to play out the origin role, and the animosity that builds between Wolverine and his best buddy Sabretooth. Good times! You know its always fun when your teammate rapes and kills your girlfriend. Some serious male bonding done there I'm sure (please note the sarcasm). Hence the pre-requisite butt kicking that ensues. All I can say is bring on the pain!!!

Star Trek

Captain Kirk looks hot!!! Oh and Wait Uhuru is being played by one of my favorite actresses Zoe Saldana, oh and lookit again, Sylar from Heroes is playing Spock, and I'll be darned if he doesn't look related to Leonard Nemoy! Did I also forget to mention that comic genius Simon Pegg is playing Scotty? I mean really what more could you ask for?? Oh but wait Erica Bana is playing a tattooed bad guy...sigh....all is well, and world peace is emminent lol! Ok so I know the fanboys are curious as to how they are going to rework this one, but you know what, I say lets give it a try and lets try not to be nerdy snobs about this. I mean everyone was saying that they couldn't remake Batman, and now the new ones are in serious contention with the original! Please note that by original I mean the Tim Burton ones, all the other ones were a waste of film celluloid...seriously...

Terminator Salvation

Now I know most of you are thinking that this serious probably needs to die out sometime soon, but darn it I am a big advocate of keeping Christian Bale on the silver screen. And not just because he's hot either...although let's face it folks the man is gorgeous, but I digress. John Connor is here again to save the day and kick some machine arse!! Whoot! And look good doing it too!

Umm.....after Wall-E, all I can say is...its a Pixar movie. It is required viewing if you value your childhood imagination and curiosity, and Rufus I will not jump of the Pixar bandwagon, its comfy and they give me free drinks :-)

9

For those of you who didn't know, 9 is already an award winning film (see here) and was nominated for an Academy Award. Now put all of this into Tim Burtons's hands and you already know that this is going to be a visionary film, because well, that's what Tim Burton does. He just makes stuff cool, and they become cult classics, if not just classics in their own right (Nightmare Before christmas, Edward Scissor Hands, Batman 1 and 2).
